At Rafa Paradisi, every piece is created and packed with care. We want you to love your artwork. Because our products are original art and made-to-order prints, please read this policy carefully before purchasing. This policy explains when an item can be returned, how exchanges work, and how to reach us.

Our policy at a glance

  • Eligible items may be returned for an exchange or store credit within 30 days of delivery.
  • We do not offer cash or card refunds, except where required by consumer-protection law (see "Your statutory rights" below).
  • Original artwork and custom/personalized pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Items damaged in transit or defective are replaced free of charge — this is not affected by the no-refund policy
  • Return shipping for a change-of-mind exchange is paid by the customer.

Return window

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request an exchange or store credit for an eligible item. Requests made after 30 days cannot be accepted. To start, contact us at rafa@rafaparadisi.com with your order number and the reason for the return before sending anything back — items returned without prior approval may not be processed.

What can be returned

Open-edition prints in unused, undamaged condition, in their original packaging, qualify for an exchange or store credit within the 30-day window. The print must be free of creases, marks, folds, framing, or signs of handling.

What cannot be returned (final sale)

The following are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:

  • Original artwork (one-of-a-kind paintings and pieces).
  • Custom, personalized, or commissioned work made to your specifications.
  • Items returned outside the 30-day window.
  • Items returned used, damaged by the customer, or without original packaging.
  • Gift cards.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we will make it right at no cost to you. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at rafa@rafaparadisi.com with:

  1. Your order number.
  2. Photos of the damaged item and the packaging it arrived in.

We will arrange a free replacement (or, where a replacement is not possible, store credit). You will not be charged for return or replacement shipping in these cases.

How exchanges work

  1. Email rafa@rafaparadisi.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and what you'd like to exchange.
  2. Once approved, we'll send return instructions and the return address.
  3. Ship the item back in its original packaging, in resalable condition. For change-of-mind exchanges, the customer pays return shipping; we recommend a tracked service, as we cannot process items that don't reach us.
  4. When we receive and inspect the item, we'll ship the replacement item or issue store credit for the value of the returned item. There is no restocking fee.

Store credit is issued as a code redeemable at Rafa Paradisi does not expire. Any difference in price on an exchange is either charged or credited accordingly.

Refund method (limited)

We do not issue cash or card refunds for change-of-mind returns. Where a refund is legally required (for example, a faulty item that cannot be replaced), it will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Order cancellations

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if the request is received before the item has shipped (open-edition prints) or before production has begun (originals and custom work). Once shipped or in production, our standard policy above applies.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. If your local law grants you a right to a refund for faulty, misdescribed, or not-as-ordered goods, those rights are honored regardless of the exchange-only policy above.
