My Story
Art has a way of slowing down time—creating a quiet opening where imagination can wander.
Growing up in Venezuela during the 1990s, I lived between two contrasting realities: the raw energy of political change and the overwhelming, vibrant beauty of the natural landscape. That contrast shaped how I view the world. To make sense of those dualities, I began constructing parallel worlds; dreamlike spaces where nature reclaims center stage and color becomes a language of healing.
My work sits right at the intersection of the organic and the surreal. Heavily influenced by my dad's love for history, Americana, and the space age era, I blend those nostalgic influences with the physical, tactile craftsmanship of hand-paper weaving. Using geometric grids and natural proportions, I build each piece layer by layer.
